Dr Chris Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon)

Dr. Christian Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon) is Western Australian trained podiatric surgeon who has completed training as a specialist podiatric surgeon. He currently holds dual registration with AHPRA as a sports podiatrist. He consults privately predominantly from Claremont with satellite clinics in Scarborough and Mandurah.

A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Doctor Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon) completed a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine degree followed by a Doctorate of Clinical Podiatry. Upon gaining fellowship with the Australian Association of Podiatric Surgeons (AAPS), Doctor Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon) was fortunate enough to spend time advancing his skillset, training in the latest advancements and modern procedures throughout Canada and the United States, including, world renowned facilities such as the ‘Atlanta Foot and Ankle Centre’. His interests include minimally invasive forefoot reconstructive procedures.

He currently holds an academic position as a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia and is actively involved in training the next generation of podiatric surgeons.

Outside of podiatry, Dr Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon) is a keen athlete and a former player of both the Subiaco Lions and Claremont Football Club. He enjoys maintaining a healthy balance of social, academic and outdoor interests.

As a Specialist Podiatric Surgeon and Sports Podiatrist, Dr Pocklington (Podiatric Surgeon) understands the importance of maintaining both function and mobility. His dual qualification enables him to offer surgical and conservative solutions for a range of foot conditions.
